The Singers are looking forward to travelling to the Norfolk coast to present Bouquet Garni, a piquant programme of delicious music from every genre and era in the beautiful 14th century St Margaret’s Church at Cley-next-the-sea.
Pairing jazz classics such as Frim Fram Sauce, Black Coffee, and Java Jive, with traditional folk and sacred songs including Hildegard von Bingen, the programme will finish with exquisite classical choral pieces by Carl Jenkins, Don Macdonald and Michael McGlynn. This promises to be an evening of – to quote Andrew Marr’s description of the choir – “Delirious aural bliss!”
