With Lucy Bunce (harp), Ivan Garford (double bass)
Join the Singers and their musicians for a delicious hour of music for a summer’s evening, when ‘music … shall all your cares beguile’ (Purcell’s Music for a while).
The programme of classical and traditional pieces will include Irish composer Michael McGlynn’s celtic-inspired Jerusalem in which the choir immerses the audience in 360 degrees of sound; and Stars by Latvian composer Erik Esenvalds, accompanied by the ethereal sound of water-tuned wine glasses.
All proceeds from this concert will go to support the work of the Cambridge City Foodbank.
